Our volunteers and Nonprofit reps will begin working at 9am. The first few hours will be dedicated to giving them their space so they can work away.
9am: Work Begins / Breakfast is served
12pm: Break for lunch / Open to the Public
12pm-3pm: John Kenyon, Nonprofit Educator and Strategist available for consults in the lobby
1pm-4pm: Masseuses available for massage breaks
6pm: End of work & Submit for voting
6:30: Dinner for Volunteers and Nonprfits
7pm: Announce Winners and Award Prizes
After 7pm: After Party Entertainment
The general public is welcome to join us between 12pm-6pm to see our teams build out some awesome websites for the non-profits in need, get tech support, learn about WIMP, learn about the nonprofits/donate to them, or find connections with other Wimps to get help with your website!
John Kenyon is a nonprofit technology educator and strategist who’s worked exclusively with nonprofits for over 20 years providing advice, teaching seminars and writing articles. He contributed the chapter “Effective Online Communications” to the book Managing Technology to Meet your Mission (Jossey-Bass/Wiley, 2009). He is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco and has been a featured speaker across the US, England, Australia and online.
